MANTEC – Spare Wheel Carrier for Defender

The unique patented piston carrier allows the same swinging action to open the back door while still attached to the spare wheel carrier. All the weight of the spare wheel is taken off the back door by the spare wheel carrier, mounted onto the chassis.

Mantec’s swing away carrier fits Hard topped – Defender 90 and 110 models.

NOTE :- If your Defender has never had a factory spare wheel carrier on the rear door or your factory carrier does NOT have removable spacers and your vehicle is fitted with alloy wheels, you will require 3 additional spacers to fit the alloy spare wheel to the swing away carrier.
